AU Representatives Tour KNUST E-Learning Facilities
A delegation from the African Union on Thursday 18th of August, 2022 paid a working visit to the KNUST E-Learning Centre. The visit was to among others see at first hand the equipment and facilities that have driven KNUST’s success stories in the e-learning environment. The delegation was led by Mr. Chipango Nyala and Souhila Amazouz.
The leader of the delegation stated that, hearing of KNUST’s investments in the online learning environment they could not help but come to see at first hand the infrastructure behind the achievements. Prof. Eric Appau Asante welcomed the team and led them in a tour of the studios and offices. In his welcome remarks, Prof Asante noted that the African Union has been a source of policy foundation for the implementation of e-learning on the continent.
He also expressed management’s delight that the efforts of the University are being recognized from far and near. The African Union delegation pledged its support for the KNUST e-learning agenda which will be evident through the Centre’s partnerships with the AU and participation in its conferences and seminars.
