Explaining the rationale for such a collaborative move, Prof. Eric Appau Asante, the Director of the KNUST E-Learning Centre mentioned that, “realizing the strides the Centre for Capacity Building and Innovation has made in running short courses in the University and the fact that both Centres are under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, it is appropriate that we harmonize lines of operations when it comes to the running of short courses online.” This, he added, would help both Centres in the fulfilment of their mandates.
