GRASAG KNUST President and Executives make waves in collaborative visit to KNUST’s E-learning Centre

In an unprecedented move towards academic innovation and student empowerment, the Graduate Students Association of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (GRASAG-KNUST) leadership paid a visit to the E-Learning Centre on Wednesday 29th November 2023. The delegation, led by the GRASAG-KNUST President Mr. Felix Adusei met with the Director of the E-Learning Centre, Prof. Eric Appau Asante to initiate what promises to be a transformative collaboration between the Graduate Students Association and the E-Learning Centre.

President Adusei praised the visionary leadership of the E-Learning Centre and highlighted the purpose of their visit; to introduce the new GRASAG-KNUST executives and explore avenues for collaboration in the upcoming academic year 2023/2024.

Discussions during the meeting delved into key areas that would elevate the academic experience for graduate students. Training and capacity-building initiatives took center stage with a focus on enhancing the skills and competencies of graduate students. The proposed Leadership Development Course for student-leaders garnered significant attention as both parties recognized the pivotal role effective leadership plays in the academic journey.

One of the most exciting outcomes of the meeting was the plan to have a webinar series, a collaborative effort between GRASAG-KNUST and the E-Learning Centre. The series aims to provide valuable insights into postgraduate life, spark discussions, and foster a culture of continuous learning among graduate students. Prof. Eric Appau Asante, Director of the E-Learning Centre seized the occasion to extend heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected GRASAG-KNUST leadership. He assured the GRASAG executives of the E-Learning Centre's unwavering commitment to supporting all graduate students irrespective of their study mode—be it Regular, Distance, fully online, or sandwich programs. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as both parties expressed optimism about the positive impact this collaboration would have on the academic landscape of KNUST. The partnership is poised to set new standards for student development, ushering in an era of academic excellence and innovation.
