KEC holds it's first staff meeting for 2024
The KNUST E-Learning Centre has held its first staff meeting for the year 2024. It was to discuss goals, strategies and expectations for the year. Team members were lauded for their commitment in taking up more tasks while executing their assigned roles the previous year.
In 2024, the E-Learning Centre will offer a range of high-quality, interactive online courses which provide flexible learning for students, staff and non-staff members.

“We want to see full online programs. To be frank, that is our core mandate. Every other thing we are doing is simply keeping pace. This is our full mandate per the management of the University and our Registrar constantly reminds us. He wants to see us running a lot of programs fully online. This mandate has been endorsed by the academic board. Last year we could only boast of one full online program,” he said.
All sections under the Instructional Design, System, and Service Support Units have been directed to hold monthly meetings. “Whatever meeting you hold, the bottom line is to get an agenda. Don’t just call for meetings. Let the Registrar see the agenda you have. He could make an input,” Prof Asante advised.
Registrar at the Centre, Mr. Christopher Addo highlighted activities to be done during the semester. New staff members supporting technical, service, and administrative duties were introduced.
