MCFSP and KEC organizes Masterclass and Content Creation Workshop


MASTERCLASS AND CONTENT CREATION KNUST ELEARNING CENTRE

The prestigious Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Program (MCSFP), in collaboration with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) E-Learning Centre (KEC), recently concluded a highly successful two-week Masterclass and Content Creation Workshop. The event, which took place from May 8 to May 19, 2023, saw a remarkable turnout of 72 participants, comprising all esteemed faculty members from KNUST and its affiliate institutions.

The workshop commenced with an inspiring opening address from the Vice Chancellor of KNUST, Prof. Mrs. Rita Akosua Dickson. In her speech, Prof. Dickson emphasized the significance of this initiative, which enhances the institution's commitment to empowering faculty members with essential skills and knowledge to continually elevate the learning experience for their students.

Cohorts for the program

The 72 participants were grouped into two cohorts, each led by different resource persons who expertly guided them through the process of repurposing existing course materials for online teaching and learning. The sessions were designed to foster creativity and innovation in course delivery, aligning with the evolving landscape of education.

Throughout the workshop, participants were engaged in hands-on activities, interactive discussions, and practical demonstrations, allowing them to gain invaluable insights into contemporary pedagogical techniques and content creation methodologies.
