Technical University of Munich explores digital learning collaboration with KNUST E-Learning Centre


Morwenna Joubin, Programme Manager at the Institute for Advanced Study, Technical University of Munich, has explored potential collaborations in digital learning with the KNUST E-Learning Centre during her visit to the university.

As part of the Maximilian Graf Montgelas Programme, which promotes international exchanges for administrative staff, Morwenna engaged with officials at KNUST to understand the university’s approach to e-learning and research support. 

She was accompanied by Yvonne Baiden, Senior Assistant Registrar at the International Programmes Office. During her visit to the E-Learning Centre, discussions were on KNUST’s online education strategies, digital tools for teaching, and innovations in remote learning.

Morwenna expressed interest in how KNUST integrates technology into education and how the university supports students and faculty in virtual learning environments. 

She also visited other units, including the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR) and the Office of Grants and Research (OGR), to learn about their roles in academic research and funding opportunities. 

Additionally, she explored the University Relations Office to gain understanding into KNUST’s internal and external communication strategies and sustainability efforts. 

Morwenna’s visit is expected to strengthen ties between TUM and KNUST, particularly in digital learning and administrative best practices.
