In a move to enhance the efficiency of the academic journey for graduate students, the E-Learning Team has received training in the newly introduced Graduate Thesis Deposition System, a cutting-edge platform designed to streamline the process of thesis preparation and submission.

The professional development (PD) training expertly facilitated by Dr. Henry Martin, a member of the app development team, delved into the operation of the system. Participants were guided through the submission workflow. The heart of the session was the exploration of the deposition platform's functionalities. Dr. Martin, drawing from his expertise, educated the staff on effective ways to assist users in overcoming these hurdles, emphasizing the importance of providing seamless support.

Furthermore, the training extended to equip participants with the knowledge needed to support thesis supervisors in navigating and utilizing the deposition system. Prof. Eric Appau Asante, the Director of E-Learning, commended the Vice-Chancellor and the Management of the School of Graduate Studies for their foresight in integrating such educational technologies into the graduate student experience. Prof. Asante underscored the significance of the training, urging all E-Learning staff to take it seriously as they would play a pivotal role in supporting clients in the usage of the system.

The Director's acknowledgment of the importance of the integration of technology into graduate education resonated with the overarching theme of the training – embracing the future of academia through innovative solutions.The PD training not only addressed the technical aspects of the deposition system but also emphasized the collaborative nature of academic support. It acknowledged the interconnected roles of various stakeholders, from students and supervisors to coordinators and department heads.The seamless flow of information from the individual student level up to the institutional level was deemed vital for the success of the system.
