It gives me great pleasure as Director of the KNUST E-Learning Centre to welcome and interact with you through this medium as our cherished alumni.
The KNUST E-Learning Centre is a one-stop-shop for all e-learning activities of the University. The Centre was established in line with the University’s digitization agenda and the drive to provide quality education to students through both online and in person modes.
You are our most important asset and we are keen to keep in touch with you through constant updates on events and innovations of the Centre to ensure that the KNUST E-Learning Centre, remains your go to place for all e-learning activities of the University.
Currently, the KNUST E-Learning Centre has three (3) Units namely; the Instructional Design Unit, Service Support Unit and Systems Support Unit. We organize and facilitate capacity building programs among staff and students of the University. This programs have mostly focused on Digital Literacy skills and how to use KNUST’s Learning Management System (myclass.knust.edu.gh). We also provide technical support services for online classes of the University. Staff from our service support unit are always on standby to assist instructors in this regard. We have established a Support Centre that receives complaints from our stakeholders be it staff, students or prospective students. We are always ready to be of service to you.
In addition to this, we have established collaborations with other Offices of the University who assist us in delivering our services. Notable amongst them are the University Information Technology Services (UITS) and the University Library. We also have international partners such as the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) and the Texas International Education Consortium (TIEC) which we work with.
