System Support Unit Train Staff of KEC on Studio Booking Application

The Systems Support Unit of the E-Learning Centre has met to consider work on a platform that will enable lecturers and instructors request and book for the use of the E-Learning studios. The booking platform is expected to streamline the activities of the Centre in terms of the usage of the studios. The booking platform is scheduled to be released before the commencement of the next academic year, that is, the 2022/2023 academic year.

Members of the Service Support Unit were also present at the meeting to offer their inputs about the platform. The booking platform has features that will enable lecturers to request for studios ahead of time and also prompt them about their bookings when it is getting to time.

The Centre plans to engage all Heads of Department, Exam Officers and Program Coordinators on the use of the platform to ensure effective online academic activities for the 2022/2023 academic year. We urge all our patrons to keep faith with us on this journey as we are constantly working to improve the online teaching and learning experience of both staff and students.
