Our twenty-three purpose-built Pedagogy Studios empower lecturers to deliver high-quality synchronous (live) and asynchronous (recorded) online teaching.

Each studio provides:

• Quiet, controlled spaces for uninterrupted instruction
• High-quality video and audio capture
• Dual-monitor setups for seamless presentation and monitoring
• Interactive tools such as WACOM displays
• Professional lighting, microphones, and cameras

What you can do:

• Conduct live online classes via Zoom or Teams
• Record lectures, micro-lessons, and demonstrations
• Create instructional videos with technical support

Booking: Studios can be reserved via the Studio Booking Portal. First-time users receive orientation to ensure a smooth experience.

Podcast Studio

The Podcast Studio enables staff, counsellors, and invited experts to create high-quality audio and video podcasts addressing student wellbeing, academic success, and university updates.

Features include:

• Professional microphones and boom arms
• Audio mixer for multi-speaker conversations
• High-quality cameras and studio lighting
• Editing and post-production support
• This studio is ideal for interviews, discussions, student-focused conversations, and storytelling that enhances campus engagement.

Virtual Reality (VR) Studio

KEC’s VR Studio expands the boundaries of experiential learning through immersive 3D environments, virtual simulations, and interactive experiences.

Capabilities include:

• High-performance VR headsets and controllers
• VR-ready computers with powerful GPUs
• Educational simulations (Labster, anatomy labs, walkthroughs)
• Tools for custom VR development (Unity, Blender, and more)
